In the warm waters of the eastern Caribbean, a paradise of coral sands promises a family-friendly, frictionless and fun experience for your next vacation. The island of Aruba, according to Renata Ruiz, mother of two little girls, is “the perfect destination to go with children” and the reasons are very varied.

When traveling with minors, it is not enough to just arrive at a dream place bathed in sun and Caribbean breeze, it is also essential to have the peace of mind of being in a destination where everything is at hand: from incredible accommodations, whether in spectacular hotels or comfortable furnished apartments for the family, to a wide range of food and drinks, including pharmacies, car rentals and, of course, a lot of kindness. And all in Spanish!

“It's like being at home, but on a paradisiacal beach,” says Renata, who lived an unforgettable experience in the company of her two little daughters. Fun, of course, was the order of the day, from enjoying the water and coral sand that is not heated by the sun, to interacting with animals and discovering the marine world.

The experience can begin, for example, at the peaceful Baby Beach, which owes its name precisely to being an ideal beach for families with small children due to its crystal-clear, shallow waters. There, adults can relax on the lounge chairs while enjoying a drink or snack, in a space that has all the facilities and comforts for travelers.

Another of the activities recommended by Renata is a visit to De Palm Island; A true all-inclusive experience for the whole family. While the little ones enjoy being entertained in a water park designed exclusively for them, the older ones can get a little exercise with a good dose of beach volleyball or simply relax in an open bar.

And this is just a glimpse of the activities at De Palm! Upon returning to the hotel, all that remains is to rest peacefully.

The next day, the fun can continue with a day of exploration around the island, discovering the nature of the Arikok National Park, exploring caves and smiling a little with the friendliness of the animals in three very special settings: Philip's Animal Garden, the Sanctuary of Aruba Donkeys and the fascinating Butterfly Garden.

A visit to Aruba cannot end, of course, without a good day enjoying the wonderful marine world. Whether at Baby Beach, on the recommended Jolly Pirates tour or elsewhere on Happy Island, snorkeling is one of the most amazing activities in the destination. All kinds of fish and even some of the four species of sea turtles that swim through the waters of Aruba are part of this landscape that will surely make travelers forget the existence of time.

But it's time to return! The holidays are over! After a few days in Aruba, the body, the mind and the little ones will thank you. In Aruba, the friendly hosts will be waiting for a new visit. Ultimately, its reason for being is to offer a memorable experience for Chilean families.

This is how Renata expresses it, who does not hesitate to affirm that Aruba “is the happiest place in the world. In reality, it is an island designed to make tourism very, very simple.”
