Grand Destine Tower rises dramatically on the shores of southeast Golden Lake, the resort's 9-hectare lake. The tower, which opens to the public on July 9, offers 545 modern rooms (including 50 club-level suites and services), a large two-story lobby, new meeting rooms, a rooftop restaurant and lounge, spectacular views. The distinctive tower becomes the new and elegant access door to the 2,385-room complex.
Grand Destine Tower takes its name from the classic Disney movie "Destiny". Inspired by the surrealistic animated short, the tower is a whimsical visual celebration, magnificent and diverse in its design and execution. The exuberant gardens of the tower and Destino Plaza are the ideal setting for weddings, business receptions and other special events.
Walking through its majestic entrance, which impacts by its elaborate and exclusive design of ribbons that cover the side of the Great Destine Tower, visitors enter an impressive lobby. A tribute to the Catalan modernist style. On the way to the registration area, visitors go through elaborate wooden screens with rows of beautiful moruna hanging lanterns and decorative bronze screens; Inspired by Spanish tile designs, which accentuate the back wall of the lobby.
The warm colors and the Barcelonan patterns inspire the sunny Barcelona Lounge, a bar lounge on the first floor of the lobby, which offers ample space in a casual atmosphere with beautiful views of the lake. Under an imposing and elegant chandelier, framed by sculpted plaster columns, guests can enjoy a morning coffee and cocktails as the day progresses.
The Catalan theme extends to the new and elegant rooms and suites of the Gran Destine Tower. A wall in each room is papered in Spanish tile medallions, giving a contemporary design that Old World touch.
